At last, the World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam Era Veterans Monument is unveiled. The massive centerpiece of Zimbabwe black granite reflects the crowd. Doing the honors are members of Franklin's Boy Scout troop. They're led by Billy Grindle (peeking from behind the monument on the right) who spearheaded the project  in conjunction with  his qualification for Eagle Scout.
