The first two weeks of October are filled with the brilliance of the changing fall leaves. First to change are the maples, followed by the birches and the oaks. The opinion of most Franklinians was that last year's foliage show was not as stunning as in other years. Nevertheless, it was still pretty. This scene was taken looking south on the Georges Pond Road.
