Here's a quartet of Franklin's official town birds riding out the storm. One might think it unusual for crows to be out in such an unprotected spot in a storm like this. However, what one doesn't see on the far rock is all the carcasses from the 20 pounds of shrimp depicted in one of our previous pictures. Birds have a hard time finding  things to eat this time of year, so it's good that we humans can help out. Even with shrimp carcasses.
