The hall was nearly filled when word that a
special celebrity guest would attend went through the crowd like a hot
coal through the top of your sneaker. Here we see from left, Don
Anderson, George Torrey (reacting with shock at the news), Ruth Torrey
(unimpressed), Jeneatte Anderson (in red), and Al Catheron reaching in
to snitch one of Ruth's hot dogs. It would be awhile before Ms. "X"
