While we're on the subject of wildlife, take a look at this! While checking our friend's camp out at Georges Pond, we came upon this three foot plus water moccasin sunning himself by the shore. Fortunately there was a hoe nearby which we used to decapitate the creature. It was a very surprising encounter considering that there aren't supposed to be any poisonous snakes in Maine.
