Memorial Day in Franklin this year was the answer to a prayer. For many days leading up to the holiday, we'd had nothing but rain. But on the morning of the 31st, the sun shone brightly, it was cool, and it was breezy enough to suppress the black flies. The Franklin Veterans Club worked closely with the town's officials to set the whole thing up. Yea, yea, we know - there isn't supposed to be an apostrophe on the hood of the club's ceremonial........
