This is the ONLY place in Franklin where one may redeem the deposits paid on returnable cans, bottles, etc.

The Franklin Redemption Center is located on the Blackswoods Road between the Trading Post and the Post Office. You can't miss it. You have to drive around to the back of the red building in the picture, where it will become obvious what to do with your returnables.

The Center is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 AM until 2 PM and is staffed by the cheeful and friendly Barbara Wallace. Visitors please note - they do not accept cans, bottles, etc. that were not purchased in Maine.
