The Franklin United Methodist Church is located on the Blackswoods Road (Route 182) between the Eastbrook Road and the Hog Bay Rd. The Pastor is the Reverend Linda Kimmelman, who will be leaving us in July, 2002. Her replacement  has yet to be named. New parishioners are welcome.  You can reach the Pastor at 422-3815. Services are at 9 AM on Sunday morning.

The church is one of the "Seven Steeples" featured in the famous book by the same name. It's the heartwarming story of Margaret Henrichson, a pioneering female Methodist minister who was assigned the Sullivan circuit of churches in the Forties. A copy, of course, is available in the Franklin Town Library.
